Prof. Prasad's consultancy portfolio includes successful projects in packaging development, branding, sustainability, quality assurance / control, auditing, troubleshooting and standardization for various leading companies across F&B, Chemical, Automotive, Oil, Electrical / Electronics and FMCG space. He is dedicated to driving innovation, ensuring quality compliance, and championing eco-friendly and sustainable packaging.
He has been an invited speaker at Anuga Foodtec India and Propak India Exhibitions & Conferences. In addition, he has also been an invited expert by organisations such as Aditya Birla Group, General Mills, Huhtamaki Ltd, Pakka Impact and in Forums such as Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), PrintWeek India, Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry, PackMach Asia and many others since 2018.
Prof. Prasad was earlier the Director of SIES School of Packaging, Navi Mumbai. He was also the Vice Principal & HoD, Dept. Printing & Packaging Technology, SIES Graduate School of Technology, Navi Mumbai.
Prof. Prasad has a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from the Uuniversity of Mumbai, Masters in Plastic Engineering and PGD in Chemical Technology Management from Institute of Chemical Technology (formerly UDCT), Mumbai. He also holds a Diploma in Packaging Technology from SIES School of Packaging, Navi Mumbai.
